Wedding Day - The morning

After our morning "PIT" stop for breakfast, we heading downtown to Pike Place Market.

We walked thru the market, but having just eaten breakfast, we didn't buy any food there. The fresh fish smell made a couple of us woozy and we missed them flinging the fish! Then, we went down along the piers to see what we could see.

We thought of our neighbor when we saw the fire house which had fire trucks in front AND fire boats in back. We'd certainly come visit him here if he got a job in this beautiful location!!

We also saw fountains, seaford restaurants and shops. We stopped into a T-shirt shop and bought a few things. There was a golf shirt and golf ball package for a reasonable price. So, Debbie got a shirt and Bob and two free golf balls. (Deb: "No, Bob bought two golf balls and I got a free shirt.") Each of the girls got something with their own money, too.

Then outside the Tshirt shope we found this guy....

The girls debates whether he was a King or a Emporer.

Last, we watched a ferry unload and load. These are large ferries and it was fascinating to watch how they lined up the cars and then directed them on to the ferry. It was amazing how many cars fit on to one of those ferries.

Then we found our car and headed back to the hotel for lunch and to help get ready for the wedding. Lunch? Another PIT stop.

The afternoon was filled with tulle, hauling ice and beverages and more decorating. It was warm, but still a comfortable beautiful day for a wedding.

The Wedding? That's the next post.
